I draw and paint what I love: people and animals, particularly horses, and every once in a while a captivating "still life." The images I select obviously speak to me, and some focus areas in particular really sing out. I enjoy magnifying the simple; celebrating that "thing" that's targeting my attention. It's beautiful and magnetic. I have an appreciation for detail, as exemplified in my work, specifically seen in my ballpoint pen and pencil drawings. I draw inspiration from the simple and hopefully make it unusually magnificent.
